Greg Paul
CEO
Greg Paul began his career in the real estate securities industry in 1983 working with one of the largest real estate syndication companies in the country, Consolidation Capital. In 1986, he joined Partnership Securities Exchange and soon became a partner in the firm which was one of the first to provide a secondary market for non-traded limited partnerships. In 1994, he founded his own company, American Partnership Services, which became the nation's leading limited partnership matching service. He sold this company to Gemysis in 1997 and presided as President of Gemisys Securities until 2000.
In 2001, Mr. Paul was introduced to the TIC/1031 exchange concept. After nearly a year of research and due diligence, he joined OMNI Brokerage in June of 2002, with the goal of helping to establish OMNI Brokerage as a due diligence based brokerage firm in the then developing TIC industry. Mr. Paul's championing of many industry initiatives helped lead to the formation of the Tenant-In-Common Association (TICA) with its focus on standards and best practices. He has served on the TICA Board of Directors since its inception in 2003 and is currently the Executive Vice President. He has resided over seven symposiums and conferences sponsored by both OMNI Brokerage and TICA. He is a sought after speaker, communicator, problem solver, and consensus builder who is reported to put industry interests first before his own.
When not concerned with his company duties and TICA service, Greg is likely to be found in the mountains skiing, climbing or mountain biking. He has shared his enthusiasm for his many outdoor pursuits with his colleagues in the industry organizing expeditions of TIC industry leaders up such notable peaks as the Grand Teton and Mt. Rainier. His work hard, play hard lifestyle will either wear you out or invigorate you. Greg and his wife Billie have five children and two grandchildren who enjoy the outdoors as much as their dad and grandpa. He has taken four of his children up some of the world's major peaks and hopes to someday climb Kilimanjaro with his entire family.
