DAVID WAAL

RESPONSIBILITIES

Mr. Waal advises clients on securitized real estate investments, specializing in 1031 exchanges and Tenant-In-Common investment opportunities. Mr. Waal is a regular speaker at real estate investment workshops and continuing education presentations for real estate, tax and legal professionals.

EXPERIENCE

Mr. Waal has over 16 years of extensive and varied commercial real estate and investment experience including 5 years in the 1031 TIC industry. He works closely with clients and their professional advisors (CPAs, Attorneys, Realtors) to accommodate their time sensitive 1031 replacement property requirements. Mr. Waal is a regular speaker at many different events including the California Bar Association, CALCPA Society, Enrolled Agent Society, Financial Planning Association, The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors and various real estate forums. He was also featured on KGO radio discussing retirement planning strategies.

POSITIONS

Prior to PRESIDIO Exchange Advisors, Mr. Waal was a 1031 TIC registered representative with Sigma Financial Corporation. His previous real estate experience was as a commercial real estate professional for Damon Raike and Co. Mr. Waal has founded two companies including taking one public by a reverse merger. Mr. Waal`s corporate experience is as an investment advisor for American Express Financial Services and a Major Accounts Manager for Xerox.

EDUCATION AND AFFILIATIONS

Mr. Waal is an active California Real Estate Licensee, holds a Series 7, 22 & 63 securities registrations, and is a registered representative of OMNI Brokerage, Inc. (Member FINRA and SIPC). Mr. Waal graduated from St. Mary`s College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Economics in 1979. He received his Certificate in Financial Planning from University of California, Berkeley, in 1986. He served on the St. Mary's College Alumni Board of Directors for ten years. Mr. Waal participates with industry organizations such as: Federation of Exchange Accommodators - FEA Tenant-In-Common Association - TICA

PERSONAL

Mr. Waal resides in Lafayette, California with his wife and two children. He is an avid snow and water skier and bicyclist. His family and he annually go to Rancho Santa Marta, an orphanage in Baja Mexico for disabled children, to help with construction projects.
