JOHN HESS

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Principal of PRESIDIO Exchange Advisors, Mr. Hess consults with clients and their professional advisors on securitized real estate investments. Mr. Hess specializes in 1031 tax deferred exchanges and tenant-in-common investment opportunities. Mr. Hess is a regular speaker at real estate investment workshops and continuing education presentations for real estate professionals.

EXPERIENCE / POSITIONS

Mr. Hess has over 28 years of commercial real estate experience including development, financing, managing, leasing, acquisitions, disposition and brokerage. Prior to his current position, Mr. Hess was a registered representative with Sigma Financial Corporation. At Sigma, Mr. Hess worked closely with clients and their professionals (CPAs, Realtors, and Attorneys) to accommodate their time sensitive 1031 replacement property requirements. Previously, Mr. Hess had experience as President of First Western Developments CA, a West Coast based shopping center development and management company. Mr. Hess oversaw all aspects of new projects including purchase and sale negotiations, planning, government entitlements, financing, leasing, construction, and property management. Prior to First Western Development CA, Mr. Hess was an Assistant Vice President and Loan Officer with Heller Financial specializing in commercial construction loans. He was responsible for providing new loan submissions, project analysis, risk evaluations, appraisal review, credit checks, and loan administration. Mr. Hess started his real estate career with his family`s real estate development company operating in the Greater Vancouver and Victoria, British Columbia markets. The company focused primarily on single family and multi-unit housing developments including over 400 residential homes. The company also developed several retail and office projects.

EDUCATION AND AFFILIATIONS

Mr. Hess maintains a California Real Estate Brokers License, and holds a Series 7 & 63 securities registration. He is a registered representative of OMNI Brokerage, Inc. (Member FINRA and SIPC). Mr. Hess graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Mary`s College Moraga, California in 1979, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Economics.

PERSONAL

Mr. Hess resides in Alamo, California with his wife, Vicki and twin daughters, Christina and Nicole. He is an avid golfer, skier and fisherman, and is active in community events and youth athletics.
